(Tuition Reduction Incentive Program)
What is it?
Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (T.R.I.P.): TRIP if a program in which families purchase gift certificates through Covenant Christian School to shop at major food and retail stores. CCS purchases the certificates at a discount, then sells the certificates at face value to participating families. The difference is credited to the individual families' TRIP account to be used to offset their tuition costs. The percentage of credit earned will vary from store to store. The complete vendor list is on the order form. Anyone in the community can participate, including CCS families, future CCS families, grandparents, friends, etc. and designate their TRIP earnings to the account of a presently enrolled family, future family or the General Fund of CCS. To participate, please complete the registration form found in the office and return it to Carla Fay . How do I benefit from it?
By filling out the attached form (if you've filled one out in the past you do NOT need to do it again) you may begin purchasing gift certificates from the businesses you prefer. By planning ahead and ordering on time you can find yourself paying less for tuition each month. The amount you receive off your tuition depends on how much and how often you buy the gift certificates. The amount each business donates back to you depends on what you order. So each month your discount will vary.
How do I Sign up?
Fill out the attached form and return it to Carla in the school office. You will only sign up once and your savings will begin with your first order. The more you order the more you save. Whether you order once a month or every week you are saving money by paying a lower tuition bill. Extended family can help you with your tuition as long as they fill out the form as well. They just need to indicate who they are helping on the form.
Where do I order it? When does it come?
T.R.I.P. day is every Tuesday throughout the school year. Place your order by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday and you will pick up your T.R.I.P. order the following Tuesday. Turn in your order forms to the T.R.I.P. box outside the office window. Order forms are available from the school office.
Can I pay bills with it?
You can pay JCPenney, and Kohl's with your TRIP gift Certificates.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Currently we only accept cash or check.
